I had an awful experience with one of the cottages I stayed in. The cottage was filthy, with unwashed linens and insects crawling around. On top of that, the owners were rude and discriminatory towards my family. I would definitely not recommend this place. In contrast, I had a wonderful stay at another location with friendly hosts, clean accommodations, and great lake activities. It felt like home and was a highlight of my trip.
